Duffology Behavioral Insights, LLC is a family-owned organization founded by a husband-and-wife team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, each with more than a decade of experience in applied behavior analysis. While deeply rooted in behavior analysis, our agency operates as a multidisciplinary team providing specialized consultative services that also include Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). We bring extensive expertise and a reputation for delivering practical, effective, and sustainable change across behavior, communication, and daily living skills. Our mission is to design and implement positive support plans that are person-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practice.

What is Duffology?
Duffology Behavioral Insights, LLC is a multidisciplinary consulting agency founded by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Matthew and Abby Duffy. While deeply rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we provide ethical, person-centered behavioral and therapeutic consultative services—including Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Our goal is to improve quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based interventions that empower individuals, families, and care teams.
Who do you help?
We specialize in supporting adults and adolescents with intellectual disabilities impacted by behavioral challenges, mobility or sensory concerns, or communication barriers. Our services are also available to families, caregivers, and provider agencies who need guidance in creating effective, sustainable support systems. Duffology partners closely with teams to ensure that every plan fits the individual's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
What services do you offer?
Behavior Support: Development of individualized behavior plans, data analysis, and close collaboration with care teams.
Occupational Therapy: Environmental modifications, adaptive equipment training, and sensory or daily living supports.
Speech Therapy: Functional communication training, AAC device implementation, and feeding or dysphagia strategies.
Recreational Therapy: Leisure education, social skill building, expressive arts, and community resource connection..

Yes, we are currently accepting new clients.
Do you accept Medicaid or other funding sources?
Yes. Duffology Behavioral Insights is contracted with all major Medicaid MCOs that support the Innovations Waiver, including Vaya, Alliance, Partners, and Trillium. We also collaborate with other funding sources—such as Money Follows the Person (MFP)—and private pay arrangements as needed. If you’re unsure whether your plan or provider covers our services, we’ll be happy to assist with verification and guidance.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve individuals and provider agencies primarily throughout the western region of North Carolina and the greater Charlotte area for in-person supports. Additionally, we provide consultative telehealth services to families, individuals, and care teams throughout the entire state.
